Our room, and a Sunset Cruise

Our covered patio.
Our covered patio
Beautiful flowers hung down from our covered patio.  Tiny hummingbirds loved to drink from these, moving from flower to flower right in front of us.

We mentioned that we were to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary during our stay, and on the day, we were given a gift of a special bottle of wine and a cake, and our room was decorated with balloons and flower petals.

The first time we came to Grenada in 1992, we stayed at the Spice Island Inn on Grande Anse Beach.  It's still there, seen here from the dive boat, after changing tanks at a dive centre just along the beach from it.

We once again enjoyed a sunset cruise on a 60 foot catamaran called Shadowfax.  Here's a photo of it from our trip in 2015.

Good to see that the Nutmeg Bar on the Carenage is still open, though it's had a facelift since we last saw it.

Layers of ash beside the Carenage reveal Grenada's volcanic origins.  The flowers of the Flamboyant trees at the top right are a vivid orange.
