Maldives 2008 - Athuruga & Reethi Beach

Report on our two-centre holiday in Athuruga and Reethi Beach Resorts in the Maldives in May 2008. The first week we stayed on Athuruga (where we stayed two years ago), and the second week on Reethi Beach Resort (RBR).

Crete: Plakias and Kalyviani: Sept 2007

Holiday resort report on our three-week visit to Western Crete, staying for two weeks at Plakias on the south coast, then a week in a small village called Kalyviani near Kastelli-Kissamos at the far north-west end of Crete.

Pyrenees to the Garrotxa, Catalonia, April 2007

Report for our one-week independent walking holiday from Inntravel, set in Catalonia towards the south-eastern end of the Pyrenees chain.

The route passes through the Volcanic Natural Park with many dormant volcano cones and craters. You walk from one small family-run hotel to the next, covering about 70km during the week. Walking notes are provided by Inntravel. Your baggage is carried round by road for you, so all you need to carry is a waterproof and the picnic lunch provided by each hotel.

Maldives 2006: Thudufushi & Athuruga

Resort report for our two-centre holiday in the neighbouring islands of Thudufushi & Athuruga in South Ari Atoll, Maldives. Andalucia 2004: White Towns and Rugged Hills

An Inntravel walking holiday in Andalucia, Southern Spain. The walk follows a circular track, starting high up at Grazalema, and walking over the rolling hills from town to town, eventually ending up at the picturesque town of Ronda, with its sensational bridge over the gorge which divides the town in two. Six day's walking - some short days, only 10km, others more challenging up to 22km.
