The route passes through the Volcanic Natural Park with many dormant volcano cones and craters. You walk from one small family-run hotel to the next, covering about 70km during the week. Walking notes are provided by Inntravel. The walk follows a circular track, starting high up at Grazalema, and walking over the rolling hills from town to town, eventually ending up at the picturesque town of Ronda, with its sensational bridge over the gorge which divides the town in two.
